The Sundance Kabuki and The Sundance Cinemas in Madison will be the host of SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL USA screenings on Thursday, January 28th. Filmmakers will be leaving the relative comfort of their Park City lairs and winging to our theatres to present their films
right in the mid
dle of the festival! It's incredibly cool. At our Kabuki in San Francisco, we are excited to be playing the dramatic feature that is playing opening night of the fest;
HOWL, about Alan Ginsbergs profanity trial.
And Jon Hamm is in the film. That's all I need. The award-winning filmmakers, Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman (
Times of Harvey Milk, Celluloid Closet) will be in person to introduce the film, then we'll conduct a Q&A after the screening. On Monday, the Festival will tell us which film will play at our Madison location. The filmmakers will need to rush back to Park City as their films are in competition.
Tickets are on sale now.
